L’edizione 2021 dei Grammy, il più prestigioso riconoscimento in ambito musicale e un premio tra i più importanti dell’industria dello spettacolo, si è svolta nel segno della pandemia, senza pubblico e red carpet.
“Everything I Wanted”, singolo di Billie Eilish, ha vinto il Grammy nella categoria “Record of the Year”, aggiudicandosi la vittoria per la seconda volta dopo il successo dello scorso anno.
“I Can’t Breathe” di H.E.R. è stato scelto come “Song Of The Year”, mentre a fare la storia dei Grammy è stata Beyoncé che supera con 28 Grammy il primato detenuto dalla violinista statunitense Alison Krauss. Queen Bey ha vinto nelle categorie “Best R&B Performance”, “Best Rap Song”, “Best Rap Performance” e “Best Music Video”.

La cantautrice, attrice e compositrice statunitense Taylor Swift è diventata la prima musicista a conquistare per tre volte la prestigiosa categoria “Album of the Year”.
Harry Styles ha vinto il Grammy come “Best Pop Solo Performance” con Watermelon Sugar, mentre Lady Gaga e Ariana Grande hanno vinto nella categoria “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance”.
Nella categoria “Best Dance Recording” e “Best Dance/Electronic Album” ha invece trionfato Louis Kevin Celestin, noto come Kaytranada, DJ e produttore discografico canadese di origini haitiane.
